Love is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs

Quick irritation tears at the fabric of a relationship. Holding past sins against someone means that they can never overcome their own faults and difficulties to change. When we allow people to get better, and notice and congratulate them on their efforts, we foster growth and new life. God does this with us, moment by moment putting our transgressions behind us, allowing us a fresh start. Let’s receive and share forgiveness liberally.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end.

“Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.”

Psalm 32:1,2
