Love Does Not Envy
In a climate where people have more than us everywhere—at work, in videos, on social media, and even at home—how do we avoid envy? Envy divides us. It breaks down friendships and business relationships as our motivations and interactions shift. The cure for this is the opposite of envy: “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and mourn with those who mourn.” Taking the extra effort to shift envy to rejoicing transforms relationships instantly. It’s awesome when people get excited when good things happen.
We live in these bodies of flesh, and the flesh doesn’t always care about eternal things.
“All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts…”
Ephesians 2:3
